Infinite Z has introduced zSpace, an exciting computing environment that is envisioned to transform the industry. zSpace integrates human perception into an incredibly realistic, interactive experience. The multi-sensory platform provides a highly realistic way to view, manipulate, and communicate complex ideas through direct interaction with zSpace™ virtual-holographic simulations. zSpace simulations appear 100% in open space, with full color and high resolution. They appear realistically “solid” and can be directly manipulated using a stylus, as if they were real physical objects. They move our physical world into a sensory-rich virtual world that anyone can naturally and intuitively manipulate, significantly advancing the way we solve problems, learn, teach, and communicate. zSpace is Infinite Z’s proprietary hardware and software solution.  It consists of a specialized display and related equipment to enable the end user to interact within the environment.  You will be responsible for the entire sales cycle to sell units of zSpace to the end user community. Targeted end users will be using professional third party software applications that have chosen to enable zSpace within their application.  An example of this partnership would be an animation artist that uses Autodesk’s Maya software to perform their job duties.  Maya includes zSpace functionality within its application.  For Maya users that want to take advantage of the zSpace within Maya, they would need to have the equipment that enables zSpace.  Your focus is to sell zSpace units to end users of the application of which zSpace is enabled. Infinite Z headquarters are in Mountain View, CA. Position Overview: The Sales Representative position is responsible for closing sales of zSpace units to customers in Infinite Z target markets. You will probably be a remote sales person.  Your overall focus will be on managing the entire sales cycle; prospecting, building a pipeline, working with strategic partners, demonstrating zSpace, developing proposals and selling zSpace units. You will utilize your excellent relationship building, negotiating and technical skills to be successful in this role.  You will work with cross functional teams in Infinite Z including marketing, product management, executive management, support and engineering as needed to reach your objectives.  You will attend sales conferences and other events that drive lead generation, customer activity and positive company exposure as needed. Description of Duties and Tasks - Present and sell company products to current and potential clients.
- Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project the number of sales to be made.
- Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from marketing activity.
- Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned.
- Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts.
- Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge.
- Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships.
- Prepare paperwork as required to sell products and services.
- Manage accounts through quality checks and other follow-up.
- Identify and resolve client concerns.
- Use salesforce.com to document on a timely basis all prospect/customer activities, interactions, and opportunities.
- Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff.
- Coordinate company staff to accomplish the work required to close sales.
- Develop and implement special sales activities, such as demo days and special promotions as required and approved by management.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge and Skills: - Basic working knowledge of hardware and software concepts.
- Experience in managing a complete sales cycle and achieving quota selling a technical or new-to-market solution.
- Ability to execute the sales cycle in a professional manner; including establishing and growing relationships in the territory, setting appointments, prospecting, qualifying, presenting, negotiating, forecasting and closing sales to meet or exceed quota.
- Ability to work well independently and as a key part of a team.
- Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
- Flexibility (as a company that is just introducing its product to the marketplace, the ability to quickly and effectively adjust activity and goals is important).
- Ability to work from a home office with a space dedicated to work where you can be on the phone and not be interrupted.
- Ability to setup the hardware and software configuration and give an effective technical demonstration to prospects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Expertise with traditional business applications like Salesforce.com, Microsoft Office and other typical business-related applications in Windows and/or Mac OS environments.
- Three years minimum successful sales experience in a business-to-business environment.
- Present self in a professional manner and provide a positive company image.
- Ability to travel to headquarters location, customers’ sites and conferences as needed.  This requires frequent overnight travel, a valid driver’s license, the ability to use a personal credit card for travel expenses that will be reimbursed by the company, and to work flexible hours including weekends and nights as needed.
- Ability to multi-task effectively; from coordinating schedules to potentially assisting in customer service-related tasks as needed.
Employment Standards: - Bachelor’s Degree.
