zSpace is dedicated to providing systems of outstanding quality and value, and as part of our constant efforts to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction and safety; we have recognized an issue with our Underwriters Laboratories (UL) Certification and are introducing a voluntary power supply replacement program involving your model at no cost to you. Although customers have not reported issues with this model, we are implementing this program to maintain and meet voluntary UL standards.
Product: During ongoing UL60950-1 testing, it was determined that the zSpace 200 systems built after February 2015 require a Limited Power Source power supply. The purpose of this replacement program is to provide a Limited Power Supply for zSpace 200 devices.
Our records indicate that your zSpace display(s) were manufactured within the range of systems that require this change to maintain Underwriters Laboratory certification.
Replacement Procedure: Locate the serial number on the back of your zSpace 200, highlighted in the picture above. The Power Supply to be replaced is also pictured above. The serial number is your Coupon Code. Also, note the number of replacement power supplies needed.
Do I have to stop using the system until I get the new power supply?
There are no known or reported issues with this model, so there is no need to stop using the current power supply, as the replacement is to ensure the system meets voluntary UL standards.
If I have more than one zSpace, do I have to enter all of the serial numbers?
If you have more than one zSpace, you only need to enter one serial number and the quantity of replacements needed and we will verify quantities in our order records before shipping. If we see a discrepancy between quantity requested and our records we will contact you for clarification. If you want to verify any serial numbers, you can enter them and if they are accepted as a coupon code that serial number is qualified.
When will my replacement(s) arrive?
We expect that you will receive the new power supply in approximately 3 months. If you do not receive it by August 31, 2017 please notify us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
What happens if I do not replace my power supply?
If you do not replace the power supply, the zSpace system will be out of compliance with UL standard UL60950-1.
What do I do with the old power supply?
The old power supply has no known issues, outside the UL standard compliance when used on a zSpace. You may dispose of, recycle, or reuse the power supply on another device.
How do I identify if my system needs a new power supply?
You can check any system by entering the serial number in as the Coupon Code on the next page. Serial numbers can be found in the picture above.
How do I replace the power supply when I get the new one?

Will it cost me anything to get the new power supply?
No, this program is free and you get the new power supply at no cost.
What if I no longer have the zSpace?
If you know who currently has the zSpace, please let them know about this program and provide us their contact information (email@example.com) so that we may offer this free replacement to them as well.
What is the Underwriters Laboratory (UL) certification?
UL Listing means that UL has tested zSpace products and determined that it meets UL’s requirements. These requirements are based primarily on UL’s published and nationally recognized Standards for Safety.
