According to the New Media Consortium's 2015 Horizon Report increasing use of collaborative learning approaches is one of the key trends in K-12 education. "Collaborative learning models are proving successful in improving student engagement and achievement", the report says.

Collaborative spirit in the classroom is getting increasingly important, because the use of technology goes well with team-based projects. Tech savvy generations get engaged as they share knowledge, brainstorm, exchange ideas and develop solutions using technology. Watch this 30 second video to get a glimpse of collaboration in the classroom as students at Dawnwood Middle School are introduced to zSpace.
